# SellScript Privacy Policy Last updated: June 2026 Third-party AI processing When you use AI features, SellScript sends your product selling points, optional product photo, selected script text, script length, and tone preference to AIProxy and OpenAI to generate hooks, bodies, CTAs, captions, and hashtags. SellScript asks for your permission before sending this information to the AI service. This Privacy Policy explains how SellScript collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the SellScript iOS app and website. What SellScript does SellScript helps creators turn product selling points into short-form video sales scripts, record those scripts using a built-in teleprompter, and prepare captions and hashtags for sharing on social platforms. SellScript does not provide a public social network, does not host your videos publicly, and does not require an account, email address, or password. ## 2. Information you provide When you use SellScript, you may provide: * Product selling points * Optional product photos * Product names or descriptions * Selected or edited scripts * Recorded videos and audio * Script length and tone preferences * Teleprompter settings This information is used to provide the app’s features, including AI script generation, teleprompter recording, caption generation, saving projects, and sharing videos. ## 3. AI processing SellScript uses third-party AI services to generate scripts, hooks, bodies, CTAs, captions, and hashtags. When you generate AI content, the following may be sent to our AI processing provider: * Product selling points * Optional product image * Script length preference * Tone preference * Selected or assembled script text SellScript currently uses AIProxy to connect to OpenAI models for AI generation. You should not submit sensitive personal information, confidential information, illegal content, or personal data about other people unless you have the right to do so. AI-generated content may be inaccurate or unsuitable. You are responsible for checking and approving all scripts, captions, hashtags, and product claims before recording or publishing. ## 4. Videos and photos Product photos and recorded videos are stored locally on your device. SellScript only shares videos or photos with other apps when you choose to do so, such as by saving a video to Photos, sharing through the iOS share sheet, or opening a social app. The teleprompter overlay is used to help you record and is not intended to be burned into your recorded video. ## 5. Local storage SellScript stores app data locally on your device, including: * Project details * Product images * Generated scripts * Selected hooks, bodies, and CTAs * Recorded video files * Teleprompter preferences * Onboarding and setup preferences Deleting the app removes local app data from your device. Because SellScript does not currently use user accounts, there is no separate account deletion process. ## 6. Subscriptions and purchases SellScript Pro subscriptions are handled through Apple’s App Store and managed in the app using RevenueCat. RevenueCat and Apple may process transaction data, subscription status, receipts, anonymous customer identifiers, and related purchase information. We do not directly collect or store your payment card details. Payments, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Apple. ## 7. Device permissions SellScript may request access to: Camera Used to record videos and optionally capture product photos. Microphone Used to record audio with your videos. Photo Library Used to select product images. Photo Library Add Access Used to save recorded videos to your device. You can manage these permissions in your iOS Settings. ## 8. Sharing to other apps SellScript may allow you to share or export videos to apps such as TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, WhatsApp, or other destinations using the iOS share sheet. When you choose to share content with another platform, that platform’s own privacy policy and terms apply. SellScript does not control how third-party platforms process content once you share it with them. ## 9. What we do not collect SellScript does not currently collect: * Email address * Name * Phone number * Account password * Location data * Contacts * Advertising identifier * Analytics data through Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar services * Background camera or microphone data SellScript does not sell your personal information. ## 10. Third-party services SellScript may use the following third-party services: AIProxy and OpenAI Used to generate AI scripts, captions, and hashtags. RevenueCat Used to manage subscriptions and entitlements. Apple App Store and StoreKit Used for payment processing, subscription billing, and restore purchases. TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, WhatsApp, and other apps Used only when you choose to share or export content. Each third-party service may process data according to its own privacy policy. ## 11. Data retention Most SellScript project data is stored locally on your device and remains there until you delete it or uninstall the app. AI requests are processed to provide the requested generation features. We do not use your content to train our own AI models. You should review the privacy policies of AIProxy and OpenAI for details about how AI requests may be processed and retained by those services. ## 12. Children’s privacy SellScript is not intended for children under 13, or the minimum age required in your country to use online services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through SellScript, contact us and we will take appropriate steps. ## 13. International processing Your information may be processed outside your country of residence by third-party service providers. By using SellScript, you understand that your information may be processed in countries with different data protection laws. ## 14.
