# SellScript Terms of Use Last updated: June 2026 These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to your use of the SellScript iOS app and website. By using SellScript, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. ## 1. What SellScript provides SellScript is a creator productivity app that helps users generate short-form product video scripts, record videos with a built-in teleprompter, generate captions and hashtags, and share or save recorded videos. SellScript is a tool to assist with content creation. It does not guarantee sales, views, engagement, platform approval, or commercial success. ## 2. Eligibility You must be old enough to use digital services in your country and to enter into these Terms. SellScript is not intended for children under 13. ## 3. Subscriptions SellScript Pro is available as an auto-renewing subscription through Apple’s App Store. Subscription plans may include weekly, monthly, and annual options. Pricing, trial availability, and plan details are shown in the app before purchase. SellScript may offer a 3-day free trial. After the trial, your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged through your Apple ID. Subscriptions, cancellations, renewals, and refunds are managed by Apple, not directly by SellScript. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings. ## 4. Restore purchases If you already purchased SellScript Pro, you can use the Restore Purchases option in the app to restore access where supported by Apple and RevenueCat. ## 5. User content You are responsible for any content you enter, generate, record, edit, save, copy, or share using SellScript. This includes: * Product selling points * Product images * Scripts * Product claims * Captions * Hashtags * Videos * Audio recordings You confirm that you have the rights needed to use any content you provide to SellScript. ## 6. Product claims and advertising responsibility SellScript may help generate marketing scripts and promotional language, but you are responsible for checking that all product claims are accurate, lawful, and not misleading. You are responsible for complying with: * Consumer protection laws * Advertising laws * Influencer disclosure rules * Platform policies * TikTok Shop, Instagram, YouTube, and other platform rules * Any rules applying to affiliate links, paid promotions, gifted products, or sponsored content SellScript does not verify the accuracy of product claims. ## 7. AI-generated content SellScript uses AI to generate scripts, hooks, bodies, CTAs, captions, and hashtags. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, repetitive, unsuitable, or inappropriate for your intended use. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, approving, and using AI-generated content. AI-generated content is not legal, financial, medical, professional, or regulatory advice. ## 8. Acceptable use You must not use SellScript to create, promote, or share content that: * Is illegal * Is fraudulent or misleading * Infringes intellectual property rights * Violates another person’s privacy * Promotes harmful, unsafe, or prohibited products * Contains harassment, hate, threats, or abuse * Violates the rules of any platform where you publish content * Attempts to reverse engineer, abuse, overload, or exploit the app or its AI systems We may restrict or terminate access if we believe SellScript is being misused. ## 9. Third-party services and platforms SellScript works with third-party services such as Apple, RevenueCat, AIProxy, OpenAI, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, WhatsApp, and the iOS share sheet. Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and policies. SellScript is not responsible for third-party platforms, upload failures, account issues, removed posts, platform restrictions, or how third-party apps handle your shared content. ## 10. Camera, microphone, and photos SellScript requires access to certain device features to function properly, including camera, microphone, and photo library permissions. You can manage permissions through iOS Settings. Some app features may not work if required permissions are disabled. ## 11. Ownership SellScript, including its name, logo, app design, features, and software, is owned by Joshua Cooling. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, distribute, resell, or exploit SellScript except as allowed by these Terms or applicable law. ## 12. Your licence to use SellScript Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use SellScript for personal or business content creation purposes on Apple devices you own or control. This licence does not transfer ownership of the app or its underlying technology. ## 13. Availability and changes We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of SellScript at any time. We aim to keep the app reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that every feature will always be available. ## 14. No guarantee of results SellScript does not guarantee that your videos will generate sales, views, followers, engagement, revenue, or business results. Any examples, claims, or generated scripts are for content creation assistance and entertainment only. ## 15. Limitation of liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, SellScript will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, lost sales, lost content, business interruption, or platform account issues. Our total liability for any claim relating to SellScript will not exceed the amount you paid for SellScript in the 12 months before the claim, unless the law requires otherwise. ## 16. Disclaimer SellScript is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not make warranties that SellScript will meet your needs, be error-free, produce accurate AI output, or be available without interruption. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law. ## 17. Termination You may stop using SellScript at any time. You can cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or misuse the app. ## 18. Governing law These Terms are governed by the laws of Great Britain. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Great Britain, unless applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring claims elsewhere. ## 19. Changes to these Terms We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above.
